Partnership with Microsoft

Spanish Point has formed a deep partnership relationship with Microsoft.  During the development phase of Microsoft Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010 we were one of six companies invited to work with the Microsoft Office development team in their development centre in Redmond WA as part of an Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010 “deep dive”.  We agreed with Microsoft to build a LookupPoint™ proof of concept which leveraged new features of Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010.  The early work on this was carried out in Redmond with design and architectural assistance from the Microsoft Office development team.  Subsequently we released a new version of LookupPoint to coincide with Microsoft’s launch of Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010.  Microsoft included LookupPoint™ 2010 in its launch collateral for SharePoint 2010 and Microsoft Office 2010. 

Our Project Partners 

The successful delivery and management of complex IT solutions often requires expertise in a wide range of technologies.  While we in Spanish Point are experts in Microsoft technologies, we recognise that additional expertise outside of our core areas of competency may be needed and hence we strongly believe in and practice partnering.  As a member of the Microsoft Partner Network we actively work with fellow Microsoft partners in a cooperative environment to meet customer needs.   We are a founding member of the Irish Chapter of the IAMCP (International Association of Microsoft Channel partners).
