ACT NOW: Microsoft Teams Update

When the Pandemic hit hard, Microsoft made the generous move of creating a Teams Exploratory licence which at the time had no expiration date specified. However, we all knew the day would come when we would have to pay! That time has come, and the Teams Exploratory licences are now being retired. If you wish to continue to use Teams, you are now required to purchase a paid subscription if you have not already done so.

Remember that all Business and Enterprise Plans include Microsoft Teams. Also, if you have deployed Teams to smart devices for front-line workers, front-line workers, can avail of the specifically designed Microsoft 365 F plans.

Furthermore, if you are not using full Microsoft 365 and have been using Teams Exploratory, you can also sign up to Teams Essentials. This is a new Entry level version of Teams. You can find more information at Microsoft Teams Essentials for Small Businesses | Microsoft Teams .

On a technical note: Some of your end users may have activated these subscriptions themselves when they became available. As these services get disabled, some technical issues have arisen that have impacted paid services including unassigning paid Exchange subscriptions.
